Welcome to Soulful Vida Daily. My name is Melly and I am a 38-year-old woman with way too many thoughts and ideas bouncing around. My creative outlet is reading everything and anything I can get my hands on as well as writing when my mind cannot hold the words inside my head. Everything spills over and I find that it creates a beautiful hobby, inspires my love for literature, and all things books!

As a previously undocumented immigrant, I believe perspective is everything when it comes to life and the issues that plague society. The good and the bad are in the eyes of the experienced, and I must share those experiences, stories, and perspectives with as many people as I can to put a face to the issues. I am not an expert, and certainly not a writer, but I consider myself a link to everything I choose to write about. My only mission is to share my love of reading and writing with the world and let others know they are not alone in the world. I hope to inspire those who need motivation and friendships and hold up a mirror for others who often look away.

This is the purpose of soulful Vida Daily. I am sharing, growing, and learning with intent with anyone who wishes to come along on this journey with me.
